MA Jinnah Road closed for 3 days

KARACHI: M.A Jinnah Road has been closed down for three days for any kind of traffic while shops, located from Numaish Chorangi up to Market Tower, have been sealed in view of security preparations for the scheduled processions of Muharram ul Haram, Geo News reported.

Security officials are resorting to containers, busses and others as stumbling blocks to close down road for traffic.

As many as 100 mobiles of rangers, 30 vehicles of intelligence agencies, 290 vehicles of police and over 60 ambulances have been issued special stickers to allow their presence at the time when main procession of Muharram will be passing through the usual route on M.A Jinnah Road.
