KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr. Ishratul Ebad held a meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House and conveyed to him his party’s concerns.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Federal Law Minister Babar Awan also attended the talks.
Earlier, Interior Minister Rehman Malik visited Governor House and held a one-on-one meeting with Governor Ebad.
According to sources, the Interior Minister would make a visit to MQM’s Headquarter Nine Zero today.
On Tuesday, MQM’s federal ministers, Dr. Farooq Sattar and Babar Ghauri, sent their resignations to President Asif Ali Zardari.
The relations between the two coalition partners remain tense after Zulfiqar Mirza’s provocative speech against the MQM. SAMAA
